Lab Service Payment

1. Payment is due at time of ordered.
2. Customer agrees to supply credit card information to be kept on file for order processing. Credit card information can be changed at any time by contacting customer service.
3. Electronic credit card processing services are available for all major credit cards.
4. VLE agrees to pay all import duties and shipping costs from factory.
5. VLE agrees to pay shipping costs back to customers when 10 Rx orders or more are placed.

Cancellation/Rx Charges

  • Orders cannot be cancelled or changed once they have been placed into process.

  • Rx changes made after work in process will be charged at regular prices and the reorder will be charged less fifty percent (5o%) discount.

Professional Errors

A courtesy discount of 50% of the RX costs, including extras, will be made on prescription lenses due to professional error, (ie: power change, axis, add tints, pad, segment location or change in lens style). This discount will be given upon return of the original lenses and must be received within 60 days from the original order.

Professional errors will be limited to a one time remake and may not be used if a non-adapt has already been used for this patient.

Progressive Lens Non-Adapts

In the event that a patient is not able to adapt to their progressive lenses, replacement single vision or lined bifocals lenses will be processed at no additional expense to you within 60 days of original delivery. Should the patient decide to try a different progressive lens, we will credit the less expensive lens. Any additional charges (ie: tints, coating, etc.) will incur remake charges. Non-adapts will be limited to a one time remake. Professional errors cannot be used if a non-adapt is already used.

Lens / Coatings

Anti-Scratch Coating

Warranted for 1 year, one time replacement.

Note: Lenses must be replaced in identical form. A maximum of 1 time replacement per RX order is allowed. Front Surface scratches due to normal wear will be covered. However, abuse of the lens will not be covered. Scratch warranty will be approved per VLE discretion. Safety lens carry no warranty.

Anti-Reflective Coating

HMC/EMI is warranted against defects for 1 year, one time replacement. Should the coating be found defective, the lenses will be replaced. This is limited to original RX in same material. Cus-tomer must return old lenses accompanied by both invoice numbers in order to receive credit.

Super Hydro HMC/EMI is warranted against defects for 2 years. Same terms as HMC/EMO apply.

Summary Credits/Warranties

  • Credit may not exceed 10% of your current monthly purchases.

  • Credits/warranties will not apply if an account is not active with VLE.

  • In order to receive a credit, you must remake the job with VLE.

  • All lenses must be returned to VLE in order to ensure that your account received appropriate credit.

  • All requests for credit must be accompanied by the original invoice number and remake number on return form VLE provides.

  • All returns must be presented within 60 days of replacement invoice date.
